Good luck.

And I found these cute apron wearing dolls. Doesn't it look as if they did their hair like the Uoompah-Loompah's from Charlie and the Chocolate factory?? These adorable ladies were at Sew Simply Handmade.

SEE!!

You want to know a little secret?

I cried every time Charlie and the Chocolate Factory came on TV when I was a little girl. It scared the crap out of me. Between the worms in the tunnel and Augustus Gloop being sucked up the chocolate pipe I was in tears. By the time Violet got rolled away as the human blueberry to be squeezed back to normal I was almost in hysterics.

Childhood memories....such fun.

I was such a sensitive child. I still can't stand scary movies. Some things never change.

Didn't Charlie and the Chocolate Factory freak you out too?? Come now, I know there must be a few of you out there.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was one of my favorite movies as a kid. I try to talk my 5 y.o. nephew into watching it when he comes over, he never bites thought. Guess he's probably freaked out by it too.

Hope your having a wonderful weekend :)

My daughter, now 24, can't watch ET because of the scene where he is gray in the creek bed. We also traumatized her (not on purpose) when we showed her the original European Little Mermaid where Ariel evaporates into bubbles because she doesn't the guy. Oh, yeah, we understand the freaking out completely.....

I'm with ya ... Violet turning into a blueberry gave me nightmares for a long time! {{shudder}}

OMG That tunnel was so scary! I thought the new one was creepier than the old though.

Not nearly as scary as Peewee's Big Adventure when the truck driver tells her story though. *shudders* I still have nightmares about that! It scared me worse than any horror movie EVER has!

Okay, can't say that the movie scared me, but I have to say that the flying monkey scene in The Wizard of Oz undid me as a kid. I always hid behind my fingers...peeking a little.

It didn't scare me, but the new version scared the crap out of my daughter!!

I don't like scary movies either. I can see why this movie would scare a kid, it's a little strange.

At 19, I saw a scary movie at a theatre and slept upstairs on the couch at my parents house instead of in my room in the basement. For six months (until I got married and moved out and had a hubs to protect me).

I'm quite certain I would have cried, had I ever seen Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as a child.
