Friday Free for All-Pineapple Jerky Review

Have you heard of Pineapple Jerky? Well if you have not, you will now since I just finished sampling pineapple jerky made by Jerky.com.

Last night, my husband Mike and I opened the bubble wrap package containing samples of this new kind of jerky. I opened the package and was taken a back. Mike opened a package and started to tear into the golden dried fruit. I likewise started to gnaw on my own piece.

"Well, what do you think?" I asked my dear and loving spouse.

"F-ing fabulous. I would never have thought this could taste so good," was Mike's satisfied response. He is very, very picky and difficult to please when it comes to food. In fact, we often have battles over my salads which are deemed full of "swamp grass" and other things I prepare that he calls "dog food." You see we have a tempestuous relationship when it comes to all things food.

"This has a great mouth feel. The consistency is perfect. Chewy. Sweet. Chewy. Sweet. What more do you need?" I commented. Then I questioned, "So, would you buy this at the store, O' Husband of Mine?"

"Well if I saw it yesterday I would have passed, but now that I have tried it I would absolutely buy it," Mike responded with his enthusiastic endorsement. Then as an after thought he reflected, "But I think you need some more samples of it to do a proper review..."

"Yes, more would be lovely," was my answer. How could I argue with logic?
