This Apron Picture Falls Under the "I Don't Know" Category

Um... Um.... Um.... Why are those rocks wearing white aprons? Maybe this looks a little shrine-like? There are four bowls in front of the apron-wearing rocks. And then plants in vases in front of that... Is this some fertility ritual?

Well, if you have the answer to what this apron photo is all about please feel free to share with us the history to this mystery...

I don't know what the meaning is, but I lived in Japan for a while, and this is a pretty common thing...

Loincloths, perhaps?

Loincloths might be a good guess, but them penis's are escaping. I think it is a Halloween decoration and when it gets dark, lights come on, music rocks and men in loincloths dance around the sculptures. Otherwise, it's just a weird set-up. :D

my question is why waste the fabric? Seriously.

Just a little odd.

Hmmm...well since some places revere ancestors, maybe that's an ancestor shrine specifically to apron wearing mom types?

Hmm. No idea.

Haha! I second Aunt Spicy's thought. I love the idea of an apron shrine, though. Sometimes that's how I feel about my apron rack in the kitchen. All hail the apron shrine!

Ok wait, I thought those bowls sitting in the front were some sort of jock strap.

You can imagine where my mind went from there!
