Wine Country South Australia Style

Remember to get your aprons ready for Aprons, Aprons Everywhere, Thursday July 16th! Sign up with Mr. Linky here and jump around to see the Apron Addicts Aprons.

Welcome to Pipers of Penola!
These two lovelies wearing their aprons are my sister Erika and her talented husband Simon.
You can check them out HERE!

In the above picture they are standing in front of their restaurant in South Australia. It is called Pipers of Penola. Their restaurant is considered an up market and contemporary Restaurant and Conference Venue. The dishes they serve are prepared from ingredients bought from local growers and markets to ensure the freshest meal. They don their aprons every work day. Their philosophy is simple - To offer you a quality dining experience.

This is a list of their accompishments:
2007 Best Regional Restaurant in South Australia Awards - Adelaide Food Awards
2007 Award for Excellence for the Best Regional Restaurant - Restaurant and Catering SA
2008 Award of Excellence - Limestone Coast Tourism

If you ever make it to South Australia and drive through Penola, which is on the way to Coonawarra, be sure to stop in for a meal. You won't be disappointed. Erika will be happy to greet you in her white wait apron and I wouldn't be surprised if Simon came out to check on you and your meal in his Chef's apron. And for you wine lovers, this is the heart of wine country.

Oh, and don't forget to tell them Suzi sent you!
