Lunchtime Apron Gods

Time to drag out some men in aprons again. Just a little something to force you to open your eyes really wide on an early Saturday morning and say, "Oh my!"

We have to keep the apron variety good and try to bring some humor in aprons for our female readers, right??

Can you imagine this apron wearing pair showing up for lunch?

It would certainly make for an entertaining dining experience! What would make it even better is if they cooked, served, and cleaned up after the meal was over.

All I ask is that they make sure my kids are at school before they bring me lunch... What would the kids say if they saw these guys.

Well, considering they like to run around in their underwear still they'd probably not think too much.

And what would the husband say??? Uhhhhh?

Let's hope none of my girlfriends send these black apron wearing guys over as a practical joke. Really.

eeep!

and that's all I have to say about that.. phew...

And that reminds me, I have found the niftiest men's apron pattern from the 1940's. Unlike most men's aprons it's actually *not ridiculous!* I am thinking of making one up in a plain natural colored linen as a gift for a friend. If I do, you'll be the first to know! (well, not exactly the first.. or the second either. but I'll be sure to send you some pics. yeah)

Persuaded-That sounds fabulous! I'd be glad to show some sane mens aprons for once. :)

Did you have to post this on a weekend? My husband is home and, wouldn't you know it, he just happens to walk by as I'm reading this post!!! He immediately asked what the heck I'm looking at ... not sure if he believes it just a simple apron blog LOL!

Hmmm ... I think Mrs. B is onto something ... where can I find a bow tie ...

Maybe it's just me but if those aprons were longer, they'd be hotter. (You know like shorts length)

The top half works. :)

I didn't notice the length of the aprons. Guess I didn't make it past the top half! LOL Must have been looking at the bowties! :)

Blueviolet-I hear you. Cover up a little more for mystery...

Snowberry-Silly isn't it!
