Mountain Man is an Apron God

Today we have a special treat. It is another man wearing an apron. And this is no ordinary man...he is a true Mountain Man claimed by Red Pine Mountain Woman in the back country of Vermont.

Not only does Mountain Man drive a tractor with ease....

He built a horse barn for Red....

AND he wields a gigantic 3 foot long chain saw like it's a child's toy! (The mammoth dog is taking lessons.)

But.......

He also cooks incredible meals on his own recognizance. He actually finds it a pleasure to prepare food for his Mountain Woman and makes elaborate menus for her to enjoy!

And he even wears an apron.

Who said real men can't wear aprons.

Our model is wearing a beautiful apron made by our current giveaway sponsor Apron Frenzy! You can win a lovely floral half apron made by Apron Frenzy by clicking here. Please visit Apron Frenzy and support hand made and cottage industries in the USA.

Finally, I want to note that Mountain Man is a seriously good sport in all this apron fun! Is he not a total gamer ladies???

I got to say my Mountain Man appreciates a good apron. Today, he's up in our woods cutting logs to make the flooring for our barn but tonight will find him in the kitchen in his Apron Frenzy apron cooking up a delightful meal.

I've got it made :)

Loved the post Julia!

I just have to show my FarmMan this! I tried to get him to model my recycled feed bag apron and you know what he said? Well...
I'll just have to show him.

Mountain Man looks great in the apron and with a chainsaw.
Great post!

What a delightful entry!!! In the next post can you please tell me where I can get one of those...and I don't mean the apron. ;)

Mountain Woman is one very fortunate lady.

Mountainman is a true gem. I couldn't even get Mr. Vixen to model that apron for me and I made it!

Oh and that apron looks awesome on him. Maybe I should start trying male models to sell my aprons.

Nice apron! I once tied my dh in one of my Edwardian aprons when he offered to help clean up the kitchen prior to our guests arriving. Just as I had finished tieing him in, our early arriving guests came through the kitchen door. After much laughter and joking about "womens' chores" one of the women removed his apron and donned it herself. Another wife asked for an apron and both helped me clear up, allowing dh to entertain the guys showing off his latest "toy", in the workshop. To (try)to ease his anguish over the apron incident, as the boys were gathering around the bar-be-que we went outside, removed our aprons and after some "blackmail" tied one on each of our husbands, now all had an apron story of each other.
