Calling All Animals

Of course this is a blog about aprons! Aprons of all kinds!
Now have a look at these. These aprons are on animals that have been embroidered on a blanket.

Such a beautiful quilt.

Vicki has an online shop called Pattern Bee Vintage Embroidery Shop. Through her shop she sells vintage embroidery patterns, iron on transfers, traceable PDF's. She even has the ability to restore patterns which can be used over and over.

This is one of the many items she has created. If I were to have another baby (which I am NOT) I might want to have her make me something special. She also has a blog called Turkey Feathers where you can see some of her beautiful handy work. So hop on over and give her a shout!

That is so cute! My kid is 13,if I were to be expecting again at this late date it would show God has a sense of humor! I will wait for grandkids! It would be good to remember for a shower gift though!

I like the detail you can get with embroidery, but I don't like that it wears out with many washings. I make baby quilts that have embroidery detailing and let me tell you those things get washed to threads :) Guess they are well loved.

This is darling! It reminds me of the quilts my grandma made! Makes me want to learn embroidery!
