Giveaway by AnnieG Aprons and Bags

Mornin' to all the Lovely Apron Goddesses in Blogville!!!

Do you see the vision of beauty below?

This is the apron that Annie of AnnieG Aprons and Bags has sponsored for her giveaway.

Now Annie said, "The apron I’m giving away this time is so newly finished that it’s not even on my website yet! I’ve been making the full aprons for about a month now and decided the other day that a cute, flirty little waist apron would be fun to do for the giveaway."

Annie used fabrics from the House Collection, and said, "They’re just wonderful. Some of them have an almost silky feel. The colors are VERY shabby, muted pinks, browns, and linens. Different colors of jumbo rick rack accentuate each flounce."

The ties on this apron were made long enough so you can bring them around and tie in front or to the side. Additionally, Annie has included a handmade shabby fabric flower pin because they are just lovely!!

As for wash and wear, Annie says, "As always, my aprons are “practically beautiful”……lovely to look at and easy to care for. Throw in the washer and dryer on gentle settings, give it a lick and a promise with the iron and you are good to go!"

You know you want to look all sassy and shabby in this adorable cute apron right? RIGHT!!!

So here's what you need to do:

To enter the giveaway for the shabby-flouncy half apron from AnnieG Aprons and Bags, visit her web store and browse the selection. Come back here to TAG and make a comment about your favorite. That will give you one entry into the giveaway.

For five extra entries into the drawing create a blog post about this giveaway, leaving your permalink in your comment. Be sure to mention this in your entry.

And for 10 extra, bonus chances at winning send in a picture of you or a family member wearing an apron. Leave a comment that you are sending in a photograph too! (Contact is above) No headless apron wearers please!! We will write up your "apron-ography" in the weeks to come.

Giveaway Closes 3/9/2010.

P.S. Annie will be out for a few weeks and if you place and order with her she will not be able to process until she returns. Exact details are located on her site! But if you want to order an apron she will get it to ya. Just a little delayed.

Holy wow! Her aprons are adorable. Loving all of the 50s and 20s inspired ones, but the kitchsy part of me loves the "Calling All Cowgirls"...it's be perfect for summer with my cowboy hat! People wear cowboy hats in Portland, right? Hm...

Thank you for hosting these giveaways!

Grand Pooba said...

Oh man, not another MUST HAVE! I am so in on this one too. And did you check out the Le Chic Chef Apron? So fun! I think it'd go great with my collection. :o)

Oh I was going to tell you. The cow half apron that you made has turned into my house cleaning apron. I love it because it has pockets so I can put all the little things I find while cleaning and put them away after I'm done.

You wouldn't believe how many bobby pins and elastics are strewn all over my house!

It pretty much rocks my socks.

OH MY, I've always wanted to own one of Annie's delicately home-sewn items. My favorite apron at Annie G's is the first one listed on her site. It has the word romantic in its title and it certainly is romantic. I'm so excited to enter this give-a-way that I'm posting it on my blog to have a greater chance of winning. Wish me luck! :)

Oh, these are eye candy! After quite a bit of debating, I'd have to say that my favorite apron is "My Mama's Vintage Style Apron". I love the colors and style!

I just started baking (a LOT) and although I started wearing aprons just to get in a baking "zone", I'm finding them essential to baking/cooking now!
