I received an email about aluminum foil and cling wrap a few weeks ago and have to share it with you ladies. I am probably way, way, way late to this party, but maybe there are some other oblivious losers out there like me. I have been using these products for at least 27 years and never noticed this marvel of modern technology.
You know when you try to pull some saran wrap or aluminum foil out and the roll comes out of the box? You've had this happen...don't deny it. Then you have to put the roll back in the box and start over. The darn roll always comes out at the wrong time.
Look at the end of the roll of foil or wrap.
Right there on the end of the box is a tab to lock the roll in place.
Question: How long has this little locking tab been there?
Answer: An eternity and then some...
I can't count the number of times the Saran wrap roll has jumped out when I was trying to cover something up. Now I have seen the light and can function like a normal human, not like a dork trying to wrap leftovers...
